Surprised to see the entry numbers in the 30's - good grid but don't we normally see more than this at Sebring...? |

Spykers Hans Rennes at LMSR.net; "the Spyders are just "playing around" so far,
they'll save the performance for when it counts." Curious if it's just a big mouth or if they'll really surprise us in quali. Hoping the latter, but expecting the first. Please prove me wrong Hans |

I know it's early days and the times mean very little, but I'm hugely impressed by the Risi Ferrari's performance so far. If the car proves to be reliable and stays out of trouble, eddsc's prediction of a win on it's race debut could prove to be a good shout!

LMP2 victory will go to Porsche for sure, but GT2 is starting to more doubtfull (Ferrari and Panoz look extremely strong).

I know it is early, but it appears that the Konrad Saleen is way off the pace compared to the rest of GT1. When you look at pictures of it, I am surprised how different it looks from the Acemco Saleen (primarily the mirrors). According to Doug Fehan the Saleen should be one of the fastest out there. I am concerned that these cars are way under developed.
I also remember last year that Mazda said that their car was being developed on the track (unlike the Spyder). I am glad they race, but I haven't seen anything to suggest that the car has been developed at all since last season. Sure they have moved the intake half a dozen times, but the car cannot seem to get any performance gain. That Lola chassis cannot come soon enough! It looks like it is going to be a GREAT weekend. Go Aston, and Go Ferrari!!!! |
