Yay Embassy buy a decent car! You have to figure despite the optimism in the Pilbeam package that the Radical gives them a better chance at decent results in their first year!!

People seem to be talking of the end of the Embassey Pilbeam but I don't believe that is the case. In the DSC piece Jonathon France talks about the Pilbeam suggesting that the SR9 is a stop gap whilst the Pilbeam is further developed.
Embassey also have a second program for this season. One that certainly came as a suprise to me. The team will run a Yamaha R1 in the British Superstock Championship for this season with Glen Richards doing the peddling. If the car looks as good as the bike we are in for a treat this season. http://embassy.onestopcms.co.uk/News...acing+Moto.htm |

From various reports around the web , it seems that Tomas Enge's elbow is rightly shagged ..... from the sound of it , i wonder will the poor man be fit to drive for AMR at LM ?
If not ..... a possible replacement could be ? Picinni or Simonsen ..... |

Great show, it seems Motors TV have a good relationship with the ACO, Peugeot and Michelin, which is helping the LMS/Le Mans get some fantstic coverage, the relatinship works for all concerned.
Now all we need is Radio Le Mans/Embassy Radio at each round. |

Regarding Radio Le Mans coverage for the LMS John Hindaugh was asked about the possibility of coverage on the Motors TV forums. He said that on more than one occasion he has approached the ACO and the LMS organising comittee about the possibility of covering the races. He was apparently turned down on each occasion. Other than funding one of the main stumbling blocks was that the LMS covers 6 countries with 6 different languages.

Didn't want to start a new thread on this, but something quite important to GT fans on the lms site ( http://www.lmes.net/2007/uk/valencia/liste_engages.asp ):
The official number of teams entered for the whole season is 51. Unfortunately, the track of Valencia only accepts 46 cars. Thus, the 5 "LM"GT2 cars ranking last after the Monza round cannot participate; save in the case of another competitor drop out! So, yes to the Lavaggi, Chamberlain's ancient Lola, the Pilbeam & Ferrari 550 But no to the Felbermayr Porsche, Watt Porsche, LNT Panoz, Corvette Z06 & Ice Pol Ferrari. Doesn't quite stick right with me - surely the worst performer from each class should have been excluded for the next round? I wonder if any of those GT2 cars will head over to Silverstone for the FIA GT instead? |

LMS is a prototype series first and foremost, while GT1 needs all the help it can get.
Chamberlain are competitive, Lavaggi have commited to building a new P1 chassis, while the Pilbeam adds diversity and has some good results behind it. |

Those last three are the LNT Panoz, Markland Corvette Z06 & Ice Pol Ferrari 430. Wonder how the organisers will act with the #97 GPC Sport entry. This was a Monza-entry only but won the race and the team wants to continue. |
