This could be akin to the way a lot of F1 fans on here don't seem to like sprints. Maybe they lack the intrigue of the longer Grand Prix format.

I must confess I personally don't see a lot of 'intrigue' in GPs at the moment, what with it basically being the Max and RBR show. I've just never taken to the sprints...

Just delay watching a GP and fast forward through the boring parts. It feels like a sprint race.

Seriously, I like both sprint and GP length races. And as an endurance racing fan (not following it currently) I enjoy the irony that GP length races are really sprint races when compared to endurance racing.
