Merc out?
Heard this rumour a couple of times at Thruxton paddock yesterday - Merc withdrawing from their deal with Ilmor and being replaced by another volume car manufacturer, possibly American. Autospurt were reporting that Dodge were on the verge of pulling out of their Mopar deal with Oreca in sportscars... but I dont think they would be big enuff. Must be GM then! Are Merc scared of being beaten by BMW??

I thought Mercs is a major shareholder at the McLarens International?
Anyway, I'll heard rumours that Honda will return to the Silver Arrows in 2003/4, not sure if there's any truth in it. |
