e-mail problems
I've been experiencing problems with the email notifications in the last few days. They seem to not come through for ages (15-20minutes) and then they all come at once.
Any reason? |

Paul - is this only happening with 10-10ths notifications or with everything?

eeeek!
I can think of any number of things that could be causing it but I'm not familiar with the back end of this interface or with the server so I honestly don't know what to suggest. If you're using Outlook or Outlook Express you could put a rule in place that will automatically put these messages in a folder for you instead of flooding your inbox - that any help? |

im with hotmail. its just annoying that these messages arent coming through when they usually do, ie when a reply is posted but it seems that they are all being stored for ages and then all released at once. I just got about 3 emails telling me you've replied to this topic, one for each reply while ive been online like usual but just not at the right time.

weird - I think you can autorule with hotmail too - it's been ages since I used it though.

Blame Hotmail - their mail servers are occasionally so busy, that they refuse connections, then when one goes through later, the rest come through as a big bundle. Solution - don't use Hotmail
