Hoping to go in 2022, but currently a lot of things on my plate for 2022 so have not had the chance to count in my plans for Le Mans yet.

Hopefully all the sites are open next year as planned, but crucially all those small entrances into the circuit are reinstated too. That was what made life really difficult this year and added a lot of extra metres of walking.

I fear this year again Le Mans will be moved to August or September with gauges and lot of restrictions
And Le Mans Classic probably canceled one more time
With Omicron , the situation is more problematic than last year, and certainly the virus will continue to mutate and resist angain and again despite vaccines
This article says even Omicron is less dangerous, it’s ability to mutate faster makes it much more dangerous and heavy for hospitals capacity.

Good to see that for those of us with a grandstand seat and who bought the combined ticket they have finally merged the GA and Stand ticket in to one, thus saving the faff of finding the right one at the gate or the stand!

1st Tickets came through with our camping ticket for Houx. Lovely stuff.

Just got back from a packed Monte Carlo Rally last week. First trip to France since the race last year. Felt good - really think it's time to embrace a new version of normality. Roll on June!

So, less than four months out. What's the mood?

Obviously we're only ever a new variant away from major issues, but in the UK it certainly feels like we've crossed the 'just crack on' threshold now. What about in France?

The daily number of cases is dramatically decreasing.
After some problems with unavailable personnel, the ticket office have sent the tickets by a DHL envelop I received last week.

Same positive mood for June I've had all along

We have a long weekend break to France booked for mid March too

Yes, the feeling is now considerably more optimistic. As you say Rich, we seem to have reached the 'just crack on' point now. As I understand it, no testing of any kind is now required for us Brits to travel to France?
