I prefer the livery on the left to the one on the right. More colour to it.

I don’t know. I’m not even a core fan. Although the big race is today.
Thanks. |

I had same thoughts, but go back to the late 60's and cars hit 200mph+ at Le Mans with the spoiler and still managed to turn corners somehow with crude brakes. It has to be an aesthetic choice.

It is about "Nascar" being there, so they are trying to retain as much of 'the look' as they can. Spoiler, but addition of what they call 'canards' on the read flanks, dive planes on the front. But the same stance to the car. Feb 21, 2023 is the 75th anniversary of the founding of Nascar, and this year's LeMans 24 is the 100th Anniversary for that race. Nascar wanted to be there, and be a part of the 100th celebration, while trying to maintain their identity. The 'innovative' aspect of this project is the marketing. |

Somehow this Garage 56 entry interests me more than lets say a LMP2 powered by a alternative fuel.

Le Mans has increasingly become starved of variety - both in terms of the grid and its soundtrack.
This is a great throwback and a side plot actually worth following. To be fair I felt the same way about the DeltaWing, but this is next level fun and LOUD! |

I wonder if the hybrid system will be ready for Petit Le Mans.

I see it’s done a 24 hour test at Sebring.

Pounding around Sebring simulates hours of curb strikes ar Circuit de ls Sarthe. Plus it will toughen those drivers up.

I'm hoping they take the opportunity to break out the car for at least a paddock display at The Mitty this spring as the featured marque is NASCAR. And allow entry unclassified to Petit please |

Road Atlanta would be a great place for a NASCAR road course. After all, they do own the track.

And no, no mention of IMSA allowance but they have run odd things when they want. I'm just hoping they bring it the the NASCAR celebration at the track in April for the paddock |

Only 2 open weekends and few open weeks at Road Atlanta until mid December, Easter weekend and 4th of July weekend. And most weeks have at least one driving school day, some multiple days. And testing, LOTS of testing.
I end up going to the track 5-8 times a year depending on my schedule |
