Masters Historic Test Day 2022

Might be a bit late, but for anyone who's free on Tuesday 22nd March, get down to Donington Park For Masters Historic Racing Test Day.

As always test days are free to attend for spectators and it is unsilenced and running on the national circuit.

Does anyone know why Masters Historic F1 is now called Masters Racing Legends?

Presumably much the same reason BRDC British F3 has become GB3 - because the FIA will only allow F1, F2 and F3 to be used for their own series and not by national series. Thus Masters Historic Formula One is now Masters Racing Legends and I think it also applies to using Grand Prix as well.

A few videos of the F1 and Sports cars out running from trackside. Apologies as the sound a bit distorted in places

Not the FIA responsibility but Formula One Group as registered trademarks.

4 entry lists are on the Masters site for this weekend.

Gentleman Driver and the 60s saloons grids are well subscribed, F1 and Historic sports a bit less so.
Think the other race is HSCC?

Popped up to DP this lunch time but could only spend half an hour there. I think it was an open test day rather than a dedicated Masters test day, but several Masters cars there ahead of this weekend. Got my timing all wrong as it absolutely chucked it down! Nevertheless had a brief gander at some lovely F1 cars (Loti, Williams), Group C (TWR Jag, Lola), F2 (Ralt, March BMW) and various Chevron B8s and 16s, BMW M3s, Jaguar E Types and the like.
