Bank Holiday Monday @ Combe
I'm assuming there's a meeting on BH Monday?
If so, what's on? I'm tempted to make an appearance (Twice in one season!) |

Tickets are in the post!
Decided to stay over on the Monday night as well, so no long journey home afterwards! If this meeting is only half as good as last time I was there (May) then it'll be a cracker! |

My magnet was definitely working with a vengeance with that one! He hit the barrier at unabated speed, having been tipped into the spin BEFORE hitting the brakes! It was a text book demonstration of armco barrier doing what it is supposed to do. It deformed to absorb a significant amount of the impact then retained the car within the confines of the circuit. If there hard been tyres at the inital point of impact I believe the accident would have been a LOT larger because the car would have been thrown back into the track and probably rolled. Instead he skimmed down the barrier, landing right way up and finally coming to rest after eventually hitting the tyre wall at a greatly reduced pace. |
