It really is a shame. I too am only going on the Sunday this year and will miss CER greatly. It is all well and good 'headlining' on Saturday, but if there is hardly anyone there then surely they would rather play in front of a bigger crowd on the Sunday.

I think '05 was actually the best timetable, but hey it should be great anyway. Here's to AMR taking the title at home!!!

Dup. from FIA GT-1 thread

Well from Megevand's interview at E.I. with Luc it does not sound as if LAA will be in GT-1 next year, and does sound like they will go GT-2. LAA does a lot of cross series racing and GT-1 does not fit with a program that is predicated towards it, seems like the logical choice to me.

It is very good to see Luc coming along in his recovery! So any of you that have the chance this weekend at Silverstone to offer up your well wishes should hunt him up during the pit walk, etc., and do so.

Interview

I am hoping they go with the Corvette. LAA has been a good 'partner' team for Corvette in Europe. I would really like to see the GT-2 Corvette on the LMS grid next year.

Guys, am in the area of the track today and would love to go along?

Do you have to have a weekend ticket or some kind of permission to attend today? Or is it a turn up job?

I just dont wanna get there and be turned away?

Does that mean he's looking for a drive in a GT2 in the LMS, or is he promoting the GT2 to prospective teams for Corvette Racing?

It was very quiet today on the spectator and photographer front. Excellent weather and some good track action.

Formula Le Mans is dire but the CER are the stars of the event.

hum! let me see!! I have a doubt by myself...

AMR #007 is ahead of Pesca #16 7 points right...

If pesca #16 won this race and makes the pole, they i'll get more 11 points...

At which position #007 should cross the checkered flag line to grab both title ??? drivers and manufactors??

4th???

Well in the scenario you pose with Pesca scoring 11pts AMR would have to score 5pts to win. The extra pt for pole has already been awarded, so in order to win the #007 would indeed have to place 4th or better.

Unfortunately it's beginning to look as if I won't get there at all this weekend..... I knew a while ago that the Saturday overnight to Sunday was probably a lost cause, but I don't think I'm going to make it at all now sadly... I hope those who are there have a good time.
