London Motorsport Show

Yesterday the postman brought us complimentary tickets to the London Motorsport Show.

To quote from the covering letter:

'We feel that it is important as a participant in motor racing that you should be granted complimentary admission, this has been made possible because of the support of the Motor Sports Association.'

It's not all bad news, is it?

I was sent a ticket at work some two months ago, I guess they need the place to look busy, it does beg the question why have a rival show so close to the Autosport date which is very sucessful - Balders

You can't give the tickets away the rally forums are full of people trying to give them away.
So if one forum runs out then go to another!

Am I to presume that ALL MSA registered marshals are going to get them then?

(wonder if that includes me)

It would seem so far that if your registered with the MSA then you will get a ticket.

I'm not registered with the MSA, but I will be going, I'm helping out on the BARC SEC stand. Having been to ASI it will be interesting to see how this compares.

Also it might have been nice to have the option of going to ASI or the London Motorshow (the MSA are at both) as travelling to London isn't always possible, especially if your living up north and that.

Seems to be lots of other events on the same weekend that have been in peoples diarys a long time.
Would have thought some one would have taken that on board.

Looking at the exhibitor list it would seem so...BARC SEC are there, 750MC, BMMC along with some other club motorsport stuff, some not to club stuff and karting is represented too.

I've only seen one other thing mentioned and thats the BMMC AGM and as not everyone is a BMMC member I don't see that causing much of an issue.

Although maybe they could have issued the tickets a bit earlier to give people a chance to put it in their diaries as december is a busy time.

2 day rally at Rockingham, plus an awards thingy some where.
So no good for at least three groups of people around the country so far.
For most people a couple weeks notice no good for a pass out when..........
