Best route is via the Mulsanne viewing area, out under the bridge and then keepon that road, turning right at the end, follow the diversion signs through raudin i think and the follow signs to parking mulsanne. When you leave ther again follow the road and signs for arnarge viewing/everyone else as they will mostly be doing the same.
When you are leaving you can either follow signs back to mulsanne that way or head to le mans and follow the red parking/camping signs as you pass the circuit on your left you should know where you are and then return by Tertre Rouge

Glad to see a nice list of entries for this. Was afraid it would be ten cars out there killing time. 39 sounds good.

Club ACO

According to the AUTOhebdo special issue, the two club ACO stands will be for 2016 :
- as usual, at La Chapelle.
- at Espace Chinetti near the north entrance, instead of the straight before Ford chicane.

The Espace Durand is still available in the Grandstand 17 (bar-restaurant, showers, TV...).

According to their website no

When they do it might be a Toyota, perhaps Wurz could drive?

Thanks for the response Adam! Shame. Would've been a convenient way to be able to drink at the drivers' parade and make it back to the gite.

Wouldn't Wurz make a better Uber customer than driver? I thought he had a reputation as a test driver for giving excellent feedback?

I believe different regions have different frequency ranges for public FM radio broadcasts.

But if you are able to tune your existing radio to 91.2 then you'll be good to go.

I have a Radio Shack AM/FM radio that I have brought to Le Mans on three occasions and it works just fine. I think what you may have heard is possibly in relation to scanners. Whereas here in the states we can listen to the team radios using their frequencies, this is not allowed in France and I don't think you can pick them up. Radios work, scanners likely do not.

And yes, you need to get to the meet, it is a highlight of the week.

You just have to be sure you can actually tune it to 91.2. For instance, my iPod will allow me to tune to 91.2 if I go to settings and choose "Europe." The difference is that in North America radio frequencies go up by 0.2 at a time BY ODD NUMBERS. So 91.1, 91.3 etc. Europe allows frequencies at all numbers, which is why we used to have a lot of trouble with a local station at 91.1 doing very loud French talk and pop over RLM at 91.2. The problem is that it's going to be impossible to check this before you get to Europe IF the radio does not have a digital display. If it does have digital, try to tune it to 91.2 and see if it will actually go to that frequency. If it pops from 91.1 to 91.3 you'll need a different radio.
Cheers, and welcome to the madhouse!
