F3000: who's the best?
My favorite driver is Giorgio Pantano. I think he's potentially a future world champion in the F1 championship (but he need more fortune!).
Who yuou think is about to become a champion? (excuse my english please ) |

Wirdheim. I think. But maybe Pantano. In the long run, Liuzzi looks pretty handy too.

Liuzzi can become a grate driver, but in the german F3 have not shone like Pantano. Pantano won at the first year the championship of the german F3. He won races with every F3000 team where he was... Now he have'nt a competitive car, but he's allaways between the first in grid and in race. He does'nt mistake when he's under pressure and is "bad" when he must overtake who's behind.
I want to see what does Liuzzi do in these year. He must win a race cause he has a good car. Pantano won races with Astromega, Colni and Durango, three good teams but not the best teams. |

Personally Id say its Bjorn Weirdheim at the moment. But at the end of the season I think it will be Pantano who walks away with the title.

I've never seen any of them race, but based on results, I'd say Sperafico is the best.
My thoughts are that he his going to win the championship this year |

I think Sperafico for the title this year.
I think Pantano is more likely to go to ASCAR than F1... |

I think Pantano and Wirdheim are the best, at a push probably Wirdheim has a little extra something.

The best driver in F3000 had to be Kevin McGarrity.

Pantano over Wirdheim. Wirdheim seems to be smooth and fast but doesn't have that aggressive edge that Pantano has.

Gotta go for my country man Wirdheim. He uses his head when he drives. Like in the last race in Spain when he couldn´t pass Sperafico, he drove for second ones his tyres were "Shot". People who have followed him longer than me say that he´s matured alot since driving F3 in Germany.

????
Isn't it obvious? Bjorn is definitely the man. I think the results speak for themselves... Not to aggressive? Well, see where that characteristic puts an otherwise formidable driver like Jaques Villeneuve.

Wirdheim is good but Pantano has done much more considering the teams he has driven for.
