I see from this week's Autosport that Team WFR are looking for staff. It's looks like the boy's from Ossett will be back in 2010.

It is certainly logical in terms of positioning for Jack and definitely something he has been wanting to do for the last few years. Hopefully Lotus wakes up to it sooner than later. A Lotus-Lola LMP1 or LMP2 would be nice for sure.

Well it will certainly set fire to parts of the world located underneath it, that's for sure. Whether that's grass or garage floorspace, that's another matter.

Well, Rollcentre ran a Judd engine in theirs and the others (all 2 of them) have been AER powered so you could say that it already has been made that way.

4th fastest prototype race lap (including P1s) at the Istanbul LMES race.
Good base car that needed a semi-works team to actually develop it over the years. It was clearly competitive when it came out, but it just stood still and never had super quick drivers in it. Ben |

The biggest problem with the Radical is the AER engine, with a Judd or a zytek this car would be more competitive.
But that car needs also a big upgrade at this moment looks aged, not as the Lucchini but..... |

Okay, let's take a look at what Rollcentre managed
3rd fastest in class at the Ricard test 2nd on grid at Istanbul, ran towards the front throughout, reliability at the end cost them Spa - okay - that was a weekend worth forgetting Le Mans - probably ditto Nurburgring - 2nd on grid, finished 3rd two laps off lead Donington - qualified 4th (when the Bruichladdich car was second) and should have won Jarama - qualified 5th (Bruichladdich again 2nd) in lead when reliability trouble hit For my money this counts as doing something good with the car. It proved it was quick, and was let down by unreliability and, in some cases, sheer bad luck. I'll still stand by the Donington non-result as possibly the Rubicon that wasn't quite crossed for the car. The win they should have got there would have, I think, transformed how we look back at the overall success of the chassis. None of this of course alters the fact that it's now a very old car, and that Radical don't seem to have delivered the support they maybe should have, and certainly development has overtaken them. 2010 probably will see it amongst the LC75s and Lucchinis, but in an environment where the choice is between a PiR Radical entry or no entry, I know where my vote goes. |

Wouldn't the WR Salini and the WFO1 Embassy be considered offspring of the Radical? Similar profile, same designer etc.

My point is that it didnt achieve much in 3-4 years , regardless of factory support , and it didnt . The Courage LC70 was quick too , as was the WM . The car under achieved regardless of excuses . |

dh ps according to the Ultimate car Pages, the WR was drawn by a group of volunteers. " The unusual design of the 2008 WR was penned by the volunteers at the 'Automotive Design Network' (ADN), the new Peugeot-Citroën design center." Full story here |

I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but Bruni and Melo are racing with Risi in the ALMS also. So they're teamed-up together in 2 continents. Which championships will have priority, if anyone knows?
Last year, Melo was with Modena for some races, while Bruni was with JMW in the LMS and sometimes with Pecom in the ALMS. So it doesn't appear to be very easy for them to run all races, especially in July/August. I can see no problems until June and from September onwards. |

Love to see him in a proto too . I guess he is already reserved at P&M for Le Mans , and the enduros .
Guess we will find out soon enough when we see the Corvette line up for Sebring . |

I've just noticed that there's a small update at pescarolo's web. In the main page, at the right, you can see a map of Paul Ricard circuit with "next race" (In French) at the top, and the date, 10-11 april 2010. It seems they still working to have a car for the LMS 2010. The situation is not good, but the intention to run remain there.
