It was presumably painted by someone in Corvette? Someone who’s obviously never heard of Gulf.

The Ford GT hadn't even hit the street yet and they got to run in '16.

I am going to speculate that next year's race won't include any active F1 drivers. Unless the Canadian GP gets moved.

Could the speculated Corvette C8 get homologated for GTE in time for Le Mans 2020? If not what will happen? I would think perhaps P&M should consider running the C7 in GTE AM. All they need to do is bring in a few silver and bronze drivers. Aside from that you can have the same cars and crew as they have ran this year.
