A shame for the team indeed, with two strong drivers; but it does look as though Merrimen is out of his depth. I guess he provides the funding, but he does look like another wealthy amateur who can't quite get to the necessary level of competence to avoid the barriers (e.g. Krohn).

He and Kyle Tilley provide the cash, Tilley was due to race but is injured and had to drop his Nascar ride at Indy road course as well.

The 92 built up a spare chassis so they won't miss, I thought they were out of chassis but factory teams have all the extra bits I guess.
