Well, They better get ready because in the coming years once there is more competition, the pressure for them to perform and win specially at Le Mans is going to be huge, They need to show the world that they can win with other factory teams competing.

for the most part yes, a few seconds per lap in the first hours, then Pla had a spin on cold tires to lose time and had to fix suspension parts, lots lots of laps.

When was the last time a US team was on the overall podium at Le Mans? Was it Champion Racing?

They had the pace, just not the consistency, that with some small technical issue and big driver mistake took them out of contention.
