My first question would be why the need? Unless they've got some new system I don't think there's ever anyone looking at the name on the ticket.

Highly unlikely, there's no way they'll check names on tickets at the gate, otherwise you'd have to start queuing on Thursday to get in in time for the start of the race on Saturday.....

I'm presuming it's only the e-tickets that have names on them, I'm sticking with the printed ones for as long as I can!

Pretty sure it was just on the website backup for each e ticket as the e copy on phone and the paper backup we print is nameless. Think individual naming may help if have a large group and distributing tickets and paper backup could be fun and naming may help with ACO if a ticket is lost or there’s a problem.

Do like having GS and GE on same e ticket.

Small group with self print paper only tickets on A4 at LMC was a pain as separate GE, GS and paddock tickets. Like herding cats at every entry point and exits.

I am a new member of ACO and this will be my virgin excursion, checking a box on my bucket list. I have a place in Lemans so will not be camping. Could only get a GA ticket so will be anxious to learn the track and the best spots as quickly as possible

Welcome to the forum! You have a ticket and a place to stay so honestly you have everything you need!

I wish I could go back and experience it all again for the first time. Find which spots you like and also try to make a plan for the start of the race. It will be an early morning start to make sure you have a good position. But it will be worth it for sure.

Welcome to the forum, plenty of regular fans here, who will be happy to help you enjoy the experience, we will be doing our usual meet up saturday lunchtime so please join us and ask those there the best way to get about the track and thier favourite places to watch the action.

If you're going to be able to get to the track on Wednesday and Thursday for practice/qualifying, that may well be the best time to get around as it should be a little quieter than during the race itself.

If you are around Wednesday & Thursday the grandstands are open to all, plus the ACO member area upgrade (Euro40?) includes program & a decent area at Chappelle plus discounts on drinks and food (2 euros off each beer and rolls etc) plus a bit more space and food options and toilets. And another raised area down by karting (no bar and reserved at race start - an email may come out but I'm not too sure on that) The ACO stands 17 & 18 have inside bar/cafe and toilets in the stand which is great for a break whilst alking the track on quailifying days!

Race start and sunday pm these bars/food areas are heaving so upgrade maybe not worth it if just there at weekend.

T17/18 are of course members only - at all times.
