Audi consider Sears U-Turn
After my harsh comments about Audi, I feel I owe them an apology. It appears they are considering a u-turn and they WILL attend the second round of the ALMS at Sears point. They didn't want to risk their Le Mans plans, which was the reason for the missed event, but to give their drivers a chance of claiming the overall ALMAS title, they would need to attend. Lets hope they are there!

Let us hope so, a few extra miles on the Audi's might just give Bentley or MG the chance to snatch the big win in June.
Getting to be a bit of an historic Le Mans what with Bentley, MG and Morgan in line for class wins, would be a nice overall 1 2 3 as well. |

Too bad Audi is so good. It takes the fun out of cheering for them when they can't lose.
Oh, the Minichamps 2001 Audi R8 LeMans winner will be in my hands hopefully tuesday, so look here for my pictures. And, oh by the way, the IXO Bentley is due out this week. I have two pre-ordered, so keep your eyes open for my pictures. And the Spark MG is due as well, so i hope to have pictures of that as well. |

But while we are at it, here is the Quartzo (now known as IXO) Audi R8 LeMans 2000 winner. the Minichamps is a little nicer, but the quartzo is just fine. I have both and it is really hard to pick one. The quartzo is cheaper and the Minichamps is a tiny bit nicer. It's really take your pick.

I've got my Bentleys on order too. Can't wait to get my hands on them! Dr. Austin, have you seen the IXO Konrad Saleen S7R yet? looks good!
