2004 British Hillclimb Championship

Its great to see some discussion on Hillclimb recently. So to capture this enthusiasm, what's going to happen in 2004??
I think Adam Fleetwood is still the man to beat.

G.Wight Jnr is building his own car, but will it be ready in time and will he start the season with his Gould??

Tim Mason has sold his Gould to Colin Le Messurier so how will he get on in this car? Tim himself along with Mark Budgett will be campaigning this new Gould/Hayabusa car with a supercharger, quoted to have 400bhp!!!!!

'Mad' Trevor Willis will be interesting to see how much more he can wring out of his OMS and Roy Lane will still be there.

Martin Groves should be getting to grips with his GR37 and I think he will be up there with the top 4.

Roger Moran with his son Scott are having a new engine in their Pilbeam and that could be a force to be reconed with.

Talking of Force's, Rodney Eyles will be in this New Force PC V6 so that might be interesting to see.

There is also Paul Edwards' new Gould GR55 appearing with a V8 and Rob Turnball should be out in his V6 variant.

Anyone know what Ben Butterfield's doing next year?Wow, so much going on.

How do you think the season will pan out? And who will be Champion.

See you at the "Triangle Arms" at Loton to find out!

I voted for Jnr, but thats only because for me he is the most exciting to watch....

I have to say that Adam and Scott will make the season very interesting this year, both have alot of talent and big b***s (essential for racing in any form!!)

Good luck guys, I cant wait for the season to start.....

Now that Martin Groves has got his hands on a top car, I think he's the one to watch. having seen what he can do with below par machinery and providing he's got time & budget to do the whole series!
It will be a close run thing between Martin, Adam fleetwood and 'Junior'.
Regards,
Jim lamb

I have to go with Junior. Adam did well last year in a car which was, on the whole, developed by Junior. I don`t think it will take him long to get the new car where he wants it to be....should be a helluva season though!!

I reckon Adam will keep the crown this year..........
Juniors car is by all acounts quite radical and so I believe will take some time to sort it properly....
As for Mr groves I think his budget may limit his sucsess

Anyone else want to vote?

Poor old Roger hasn't even got one vote yet! However, I think he will find it difficult to overcome the Goulds.
