Thanks "mig", a lot of people have worked hard to make this a successful saloon car championship. The appreciation of the marshals is a true accolade, which we should all be proud of.
Incidentally yesterday's races were filmed and are due to be shown next month. As soon as I know when I will post the information.

although i wasn't driving i had a great time at Brands yesterday, i heard so much glowing praise for the championship from everyone i felt really proud to not only be a competitor but be part of BARC se who organise it.

well done to everyone who took part.

next years regulations will be available very soon, its been hard work, but we feel we now have a set of regs and in particular a class structure that will benifit everyone in the championship making it even fairer but giving even closer (if thats possible) racing.

I haven't been to every round, but have been at a lot of them and I have had a great time, especially being able to get involved with things towards the end of the season.

Looking foward to next season already, although I have to get next weekend over and done with first!

All i can do is add my thanks to that that has gone before. I only done a couple of meets this year to shakedown the car but was impressed by everybodys friendlyness, helpfullness and driving respect when required. Cant wait to do the full season next year.

When will they be out Graham ? will there be an active eligibility scrutineer ? With all the extra promised runners and riders next year, the TRC should be even more competitive - I'd like to see the title decided on the track -as it was this year - There were a number of loose interpretations this year which could lead to protests and unpleasantness if we have one or two stroppy drivers/teams.
p.s. If all the additional drivers materialise, what are the chance of having split races at the larger circuits besides Lydden and Silverstone Stowe - or will it be a case like some sprints - get your entry in the day it arrives in the post ?

Merry Christmas one and all - see you at Wombledon on Sunday

very soon alan, i think we have addressed those "loose " interpitations, it was difficult trying to make every ones car fit and be competitive without forcing major changes on cars, but i think we have managed it.

re split grids, it wont be possible everywhere, if we have sufficent numbers to have two FULL grids, we might be able to do it at some other venues do bare in mind that to split a lydden grid we would need 35 cars min, but to split say a silverstone national or snett grid where we are not hiring the circuit but buying time on off another clubs meeting we would need 60 cars, and at the moment we wont have that many,

having said that if a grid is way oversubscribed long before a meeting we can try to get a bigger slot, if as at the moment half the field enter at the last min theres no chance,

so either way chaps get your entry in early, sprinters enter events by return on receiving regs, so i dont see why circuit racers are leaving it so late, especially when we have such a good thing going on.

On three cylinders and no fifth gear, wrecked and collapsed after one race, doesnt matter if its 4 or 2 wheel drive.
