Jase, It was too succinct. They needed something less clear and which sounded more like an Old Etonian style club, together with a military feel. It will give more clout and will draw people to the series like flies to s**t. . . . Have they told us what the secret handshake will be or does that come when our membership renewals have been accepted by the grand walrus after a degrading ceromony involving nudity, castrol gtx magnatec and belowed comments of 'I'M ONLY DOING IT FOR THE SPORT!' . . . . |

"Club Formula Ford (North West)" has less syllables than "North West FF1600" for what it is worth

On the issue of the re-organisation is there really likely to be much cross-over between the Southern & Midland races or will we be left with small grids at Mallory & Brands with just a couple of occassional visitors. I cant see how these moves have gone anyway to addressin the issues of grid sizes given that people didnt want to travel last year and are just as likely to not want to next year.
It looks like Donington & Cadwell are likely to miss out totally |

Many people from the Midlands possibly wouldn't want to travel to Brands and vice cersa. Most likely scenario IMO is to merge two 15 car grids into one 18 car grid.
When they had people willing to pour reasonable cash into the SoM to rebuild it, I despair. |

Could be a NW race at Donington... I agree, there needs to be a concerted effort to make the Mallory and Brands-based championship attractive to potential drivers.

If they keep the COB title as they have done in the passed I'll probably do all the Brands races and they could reinstate Star of Mallory to run inside the new championship (want ever they call it). This will raise numbers a little. |
