probably a stupid question
ive just started watching MotoGP and i dont get the way the teams are arranged. For example, is the repsol team the works honda team and the other honda teams rent the bikes for a season?or are they all run by the same team?also where are the teams(especially repsol Honda) based because i cant find the locations anywhere:confused:

The Repsols and Setes Telefonica bike are worksmachines.
They are all different teams, with different sponsors, but Honda-works. Last edited by Winther; 10 May 2003 at 22:31. |

Repsol is the works Honda team.
Telefonica is a private team but receive works machine and help. The rest of the Honda squads are private teams and buy the bikes. All are not the same as the latest machine. Most teams are based in Europe. |

Ukawa is Biaggis teammate..they ride Camel Pons Hondas.

Sete did take over Kato's old bike, but only at the prodding of Gresini and Honda. Sete did not want to ride it at all.
Biaggi is unhappy because Ukawa receives a new bike but he has to make do with an older version. Not that there's much bloody difference!!! |
