Radio Le Mans has just (well 5 minutes ago) started its live coverage...

...apparently there is a problem with the circuit power going off quite frequently, so this could be interesting.

I wonder what's going on AMR guys, cuz they tested there earlier on the year in this track and now they seem to slow!!!

I hope we get some speed trap figures at some stage. If they said something on RLM a little earlier, I must have missed it. And I thought John sent his mate to check out speeds at the last corner.

There are definitely some very fast turns on the course, and I do wonder how the prototypes are handling those uphills and sudden drops.

Any wagers on how well the best LMP2 will do on outright lap pace or in the race?

Hopefully it isn't involving an Aston or Porsche.

It looks like the coupes, especially the Lola Aston Martins, need to dial in more downforce. It certainly seems at the moment that they tried to build more of a Le Mans car than a Le Mans Series car.

Quite quietly impressed by the Lucchini this evening - they're a team I've no expectations of and I think we all accept that the chassis isn't the best out there, but to come in ahead of the Radical and the Ibanez Courage isn't too shabby.

When did the Aston pick up all this speed? Great run by the kid, lets see if they can pull off a good qualifying time.

Has been very quick in the hands of Hexis Racing in the FIA GT, even scoring 3rd at Oscherslaben.

Hindy and Damon were just talking about the GT2 Porsches having something illegal on them this year that is putting into question their results for the year. Something to do with the blocks.

I only heard it from half way so I missed the beginning. If true, this could be bad for Porsche.

Oh right.

It explains too, why all the RSR's at Spa have provisional results.

I wonder if this effects just the new 4.0L engines or 3.8L too?

The problem is: Porsche are using Steel cylinder liners instead of aluminium ones (The road-going engine uses aluminium).

And the ACO have granted Porsche a temporary waiver.
