How boring Merch stands are part of the fun

The all existing ticket holders get access to the presale is wrong. They must have meant all existing grandstand ticket holders get access to the presale.I bought a ga ticket shortly before they suspended sales but have not received the Ticketek email.

I wonder how many genuine fans will be let in.

With the NSW requirement for checkerboard seating only 50% of the seats can be occupied and there aren't 8000 grandstand seats at Bathurst ?????

I'm assuming that there'll be some temporary grandstands or that the roof of the pit building or even some of the suits could be in use with restricted numbers.

Think upmarket camping chairs, attached to the ground at intervals.

The upside of no spectators at Bathurst... those hungry ##### who choose to charge 20x their regular room rates for that weekend won’t be able to cash in on something they don’t contribute to. #winning

With no camping allowed I would have assumed that the accommodation would still be at a premium unless you drive in from Cowra or Mudgee. Thats where I have stayed in the past.

Our regular Bathurst attenders have pooled our $$, booked a beach-house complete with a BBQ and Foxtel and will watch it on the tele.
That bakery in Blayney will wonder what happened to us...

Congrats to Scott McLaughlin and Penske on their third title in a row. It makes Bathurst a true race now without blokes driving around to win championships in a few weeks time which is good news for all IMO.

By the way if you are going to Bathurst don’t waste money on the program.Totally wrong and outdated schedule and no entry lists for supports. If they held off for a week or so and hadn’t decided it had to be printed and distributed over 3 weeks before the event they might have produced something of some use.
