yeah, that's true. but it finally seems to be happening for Mark Goossens. He got a drive in the DBR9 for Spa 24hrs, then he drove the Cirtek DBR9 in the 1000 km of Silverstone, and he will probably also drive the 1000km of the Ring.
Jan Heylen is aiming for F1, and he currently leads the highly competitive Renault Mégane Cup-championship

Marc Goossens is ofcourse no stranger to sportscar racing, he already drove for Courage, Cadillac and Riley & Scot in the past. It's only these last few years he has had trouble finding a good seat.

What a great race this was.
My 3rd Belcar race this year after LMES and Euro Race.

I think it was the best 24hrs I've seen at the track, may be Spa 2003 was more exiting with the Freisinger GT3 but all the cars falling back and making their way back to front was impressive.
Kuismanen was dead last after trouble right at the first couple of laps and in the morning he was on 5th.
The Viper was really impressive coming to Villeneuve and throught Terlamen. Bottoming out and throwing sparks
PSI also made some fireworks. Unbelieveable speed with this turbo and the little flames at the exhaust while accelerating. Never seen such a thing.

But - please dear belgian members - where can you camp at Zolder for little money?
We were 3 people and had 2 cars camping inside the track.

This made a total of 122 € for camping. (20 per car/night and 7 per person/night)
i'm damn lucky that I had a cold and could go on friday instead of wednesday for the practice sessions

I've never paid so much for camping at a 24hrs/1000k

Never the less, I'll be back for the remaining 2 Belcar rounds and of course next years 24hrs.

As a german, I've only missed the season opener and the Brands Hatch round then. Amazing as I skip all VLN rounds for Belcar since I've seen it first at the LMES race

Very good series!!!

That's lot of money!! Inside the circuit you won't find a place that is cheaper..........or you could try an "illegal" place inside the circuit.

But a few miles outside you will find some decent and cheaper campings. Don't expect a race-atmosphere at those campings
