The British season started last weekend at Croft with the ROC event
The Mondello event may be that bit too close to Lydden to see many of the Brits out to play (although I'd expect a few die hards ) |

How are the grids going to be chosen for the weekend ?, there are a lot of guys very close in the points standings and it would be a shame for someone to get stuck in a PUP heat screwing up their championship (discuss !!!)
& well done to Eddie Kinirons in croft great result first time out |

George wouldn't need to - he's got plenty of cars to play with if he breaks one!

Yes, i would be interested to no details on the event too, so that i can get accomodation booked. It would save having to leave home at 4.30 in the morning to be down early enough for marshals sign on.

It is it depends on number of entries in classes and double drives and then try swop lads around front middle or back row.

Not that my comments will hold much water but the lads in with a chance of a placing eg 1 2 3 4 I recon should be put in the same heat to give all a a fair chance and I recon would make for great racing, eg myself, Pierce & Michael were in the same heat last day out and had 3 great battles but there were some out there (not in my class) that got held up by guys with no championship aspirations which I dont think is fair not at this stage of the game, My 2 cents........

Looks like we'll just get away with it,
Saturday night will be cool and windy with further showers likely in a strong west to northwest wind. The showers will persist into Sunday morning, especially in the west of the country, but they'll gradually die away through the daylight hours of Sunday as good sunny periods develop, although it will remain breezy and cool with temperatures no higher than 6 to 10 degrees. Winds will back southerly and increase on Sunday evening, and it'll become stormy during Sunday night. Winds will gust well over 100 km/h and, together with the very strong winds, some heavy rain is expected. |

That's quite a weather forecast Jen! So as well as having a full-time job, racing vees, marshalling and rescuing, you're also a meteorologist?! Well if I get soaked to the skin I'm blaming you!!

Dermot won the Superfinal and the Championship, George won the Supercar A Final but things got a bit hot n smokey in the Superfinal and he went out on the last corner with a sick engine and a fire. Ben Power had pole for the Superfinal with Michael Coyne lining up beside him after a great race in the Modified A Final. Tommy Grahams day was over before things started with a seized centre diff in the Escort
