I'm not sure it is weaker..

There are half a dozen exciting talents, a similar number of series 'veterans'who are still pretty quick.

Most years are like that in this category.

The trouble is that F2 is a bit of a lottery in that each season a different team seems to find a magic set up or tyre window.

This seems to throw up a lot of inconsistent performances and can make it very difficult for the best drivers to really show their level.

Super sprint race at the last venue in Abu Dhabi, Vesti showing some real class to get a well deserved win in the Prema car. Pouchaire should have the championship but tomorrow's full race could be a cracker.

Yep top top effort from Vesti!

Pourchaire did a sensible job too.

I think Hauger showed why he wasn't a contender and won't be in F2 next year. Well not with RB anyway. Having caught Hadjar he spent laps behind him failing to overtake when he should've been past and getting on Verscboor's case!

Very disappointing season.

Bad luck for Martins great move around the outside of turn 2 only to run imto the back of a tardy Correa!

Seemingly took the comms guys half a race to work that out.

Should be a cracker tomorrow!

Do we think that the recent happenings at Carlin put the team at risk for the future?

Being diplomatic, I don't think Trev is involved any more.

Rodin took over Capsicum from Grahame Chilton earlier in the year and since Capsicum owned Carlin the team became Rodin/Carlin F2/F3. I have not spotted Trevor at an F2 race this year on the tv coverage which I find a little strange knowing what a hands on guy he always appeared to be. The rumours surrounding Trevor and his wife's dismissal from Carlin supposedly for financial wrong doings appear to be unsubstantiated at present but I can't help but get the impression that something's been pretty wrong for some time. A very sad state of affairs I feel.

Rodin bought 80% of Capsicum from ‘Chilly’ with Carlin taking 20% I thought. Always sounded an odd deal.

I confess I do not know all the detail but one thing is certain, Trevor has resigned https://find-and-update.company-info...47095/officers

What an ignominious end for the Carlin brand, so many championships contested at top level.

It's hard to imagine a worse fate. Bad management, very bad.
