JurekB should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
So who was at the F1 test this week?

I was there on Thursday and had a jolly old time and even saw Raikonnen nearly get run over by Heidfeld in the paddock which was a bit of laugh.

Anyway loads of pics here:

My own personal favourites would have to be:

Cheers guys.

My missus is a member of the SRC so I get to tag along as a guest which was handy as it meant I had half of the Luffield terrace and all of the pit straight more or less to myself.

Come on now, lets see some more shots.

Also, can anyone who went let us all know where are the good places to take pictues from.

I'll be the wrong side of the fence but will have grandstand access which I hope on Friday is roving access to all stands.

Nice photos JB thanks for sharing them.

Have a quick search in here for silverstone spots?

My son, Minimangler, happily let slip all his favourites just last week...

Djindobre, Jurek.

At least, I think that's right?

Cracking website, and Flickr. Loved the pix of the square in Krakow. I looked all the way through to see if you caught anyone I used to work with. The office is just off the square by the cathedral.

Not too bothered about the F1 stuff, but then I rarely am these days, sadly... Bernie won.

Thanks for the compliments Tim.

I suspect your pronounciation was probably about right but the actual spelling is 'dzien dobry', good effort though.

Glad you liked the Krakow pics, that was a bit of mad idea I had but I was never entirely sure about it's execution. Only today I was thinking about getting rid of it so your vote of confidence has given it a reprieve.

I take it you worked in Krakow for a while? I'd love to move out there permanently but I think it would be a difficult move as I'd want to do something photography based, plus there's not much motorsport out there either.

I understand your sentiments concerning F1 but I just love the spectacle aswell as the challenge of getting a great photo of an F1 car. I don't really follow the racing too much although I will admit to jumping around the room a bit during the Canadian race!

So my "soon" would appear to be "bloody ages"

No worry though, I'm in the process of erm processing a gallery for my website, only that the day job seems to be getting in the way. I'll gatecrash the topic with a couple when I'm done.

I went over for a week, to hand over to the guys out there who were taking on my old job.
Spent a happy evening wandering down to Kazimiersh, and back. August in Krakow is great fun for 'bird' spotting...

I did F1 tyre testing some years back, but apart from Webber in a Williams when it rained, it was all a bit boring, TBH.

Fisi in a Renault, Maggots.

Rubinho, Abbey in the wet.

Those are great pictures. I see you have been taking pictures of F1 test for a while and I wonder if you have any of Argentinian José MarÃ*a López on the Renault either in 2005 or 2006.
You don't know how much I would appreciate them!
Thanks

I'm very sorry but I do not have any F1 pictures of López. I might have a few F3000, GP2 shots from a few years ago, but I would not rate them very well.

I would still be interested if it's not a big issue for you.
And about the F1, if anyone has some of that I would love to have it. I've only found 1 hi-res pic of José on the Renault F1 that I will have him sign soon.
Thanks!
