Scott75 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Jaguar_R5 Launched

Hey guys, check www.jaguar-racing.com for the new R5. What is everyone's opinion. Slightly different paint scheme. I quite like it.

Still not enough "green" for my liking, and its too light.

Looks a bit plain to be honest, and i still hate the colour scheme.

Still, looking way more promising at this stage than any of it's predecessors

I think the paint-scheme could be a bit better, but overall the package is decent enough.

Just when i thought they ought to come back with more green...they came back with more white!~

The car looks sharp. Pointy ends and sharp angular forms the car, which is the opposite of Sauber/Ferrari. Still, the recent launching of the Toyota/Jaguar/Sauber does suggest that they, unlike the big three, are too busy with playing catch-up they have no room for any innovative ideas.

Hope Webber does get a good drive out of it~

Bloody horrible livery! And the leaping cat looks like it's rear end has been caught in a vice whilst running quickly!

The car looks promising enough though. Although I said that about the R3........

I like it the new HSBC logo is very well done, and i like the suttleties of the redesign, graceful nose, equallly graceful front wing without that old flat bit
i like how the white acccentuates the sidepods, and the radiator inlets, a part of every car not so well displayed
the barge board is huge- nise sweep to the rear half of hte side pod as well , and nice fins leading to the wheel, still very conservative looking...can it not blow up this year? what is the little meshed vent at the tip of the nose under the R5 badge? foot cooling?

The livery grows on me from the side. But from the front, it is messy. Red and white front wing? And the HSBC logo looks badly placed on the rear wing.

I'm gonna be sick.......

Ok...saw pictures of the car being towed off track... an engine failure? mechanical failures? Or a crash?

no its not the start to have for sure . I'm sure Mark would have stopped it before it lunched itself. The pictures don't tell much I did see a trail line on the track and their where putting some soak agent down .
But not the start they had in mind for sure !

The car looks great on the track .

let just wait for the report it may (hopefully) be something small

anybody know why they opted to not have it say hsbc on the side and just show the logo, which may not be instantly recognizable to everyone? otherwise i like the livery but there seems to be some unfilled space on there.

no idea . But I noticed a few spot free as well .
the logo looks more moden maybe that is it .

I was think they might put the Cat down the side of the side pods in a red outline giving RedBull /HSBC the engine cover .
