Arrows announcement expected today

An announcement on the future of the OrangeArrows Formula One team is expected sometime today and after they have missed the past four events in a row, it is thought that the statement will be confirming the fact that the expected sale to an American investor has fallen through.

Due to this it is thought that they will also announce that the season finale in Japan will also be a no show, although many have speculated this to be the case for several weeks now. Team personnel have been leaving, the locks have been changed on their Deified factory and financial problems deepen.

Hopefully the expected announcement will reveal just what their plans are for the upcoming 2003 season and what, if any, future they and their sole remaining driver, Enrique Bernoldi have in the sport.


Hope something can be sorted out, it will be a shame to lose another team permantly from the grid!

It would be very sad to see them go. F1 needs as much support and positive imaging at the moment and another team going to the wall will be of no help to anyone.
I hope Tom can sort it out.
