How come Mr Wollerman didn't give the safety car driver a drive through penalty for hitting Dumbrell exiting the pits?

Because he addressed the situation straight away and allowed Dumbrell past

It's a shame that seeing as this is the only round that it probably did 75% race distance, that Chrysler will have to drop the points it earnt... :P

Fear not Senna05, it's only a Chrysler.

Record was probably 1999 or 2000, with something like 13 safety car periods.

We've had BMW's and Toyota's scoring championship points in the 'V8Supercar era', so why not a Chrysler

What about the number of safety car laps, it seemed to me that the amount of time the safety car spent on the track was greater than any other year even though it may not have been deployed as many? (bigger accidents with more cleanup time)

I was just waiting for the safety car to have to make a pitstop for fuel

Because Neil Crompton reported that TS asked about its fuel level?

It has to be a record for a dry race, at least.

Apparently it was 37 laps under the safety car - ie nearly a quarter of the race!

10 safety car periods for a 31 car field......how come there were never that many when we had a 55 car field????

peckstar has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
nearl every safety car was for a single car incident (except the lap one and the rat incident) and yet they take longer to clean up one car incidents than they do multiple car incidents of yesteryear
