Every Car Smashes Lap Record At Oulton
At the MGCC meeting at Oulton Park on Saturday, all cars in qualifying managed to smash the lap record with average speeds of well over 110mph!!!!
After a query from a driver, it was discovered that the people responsible for timing had loaded the wrong track configuration into the computers!!  (Loaded up Full circuit instead of short "Fosters" layout!) So according to the time sheets, the Metro's were lapping at around 1minute 12 seconds giving them an average speed of over 100mpmh! |

I don't think MST make any more mistakes than most drivers, marshals or journalists. Just easier to spot them!
