Eddie Kidd
Eddie Kidd was a hero of mine as a kid - jumping across the great wall of China!! An all-out action hero and crazy bike nut if ever there was one. He almost died in 1996 when a stunt went wrong and is still confined to a wheel chair most of the time. He can still ride a quad though!

I heard a rumour he was trying to get back on a bike!?! That crash he had was a terrible thing, I saw it at the Bulldog Bash and before he jumped we all said he must be mad jumping across that, with a drop on the other side it just shows you how dangerous jumping bikes is! If you land wrong or have NO run off that is what happens!
I also saw him when I was I kid, He was part of a stunt show held at the local park, We all met him afterwards and I can honestly say he is one of the nicest blokes you could ever meet! I great shame. |
