2 Ponds Park

Named for the 2 Ponds located within the current circuit, 2 Ponds is a multi-layout design operating from a single pit complex.

The name is rather ironic as neither of the ponds are within the original circuit, rather they have over time had circuit extensions built around them.

The Circuit offers 5 possible Layouts. All the layouts have the option of using the chicane, giving in effect 10 possible layouts.

Route 1: 3.273 km / 2.046 miles (3.302 km / 2.064 miles With Chicane)
This is the original and shortest Loop.

Route 2: 4.895 km / 3.060 miles (4.924 km / 3.078 miles)
This is the first extension added to the circuit, this traveling around the Southern Pond.

Route 3: 5.225 km / 3.266 miles (5.253 km / 3.284 miles)
A new extension was added to the circuit as it was felt by some racing clubs that the sequence of fast left handers around the pond didn't offer enough variety, and so the short extension was added creating a slower, more technical section.

Route 4: 5.261 km / 3.289 miles (5.290 km / 3.307 miles)
As often happens when a new extension is added, it didn't suit everyone, so in an effort to add another overtaking place, a new extension around the North Pond was added. This also gave the circuit a new Back straight 480 metres in length.

Route 5: 5.590 km / 3.494 miles (5.619 km / 3.512 miles)
This is in effect a perimeter circuit.

So that is the fictional back story to the way the circuit evolved over time. In reality it has evolved over a period of several weeks as my limited free time allowed.
The images that follow should be if I've done it correctly, the Top view followed by each of the routes as described in order.
