David, is this the meeting that has the 2C supersports class included and attracts a few aussie racers each time ? I've finally got my car through CAMS and am really looking forward to going up against some.

So far this year, we've had a couple of Aussie racers, mixed in with Supersports and Production Sports cars. A very mixed bag, with good fields and some good racing all the way through the well spread out field.

I'll be there. There has been a class specifically allocated to the aussie racers, future racers, hybrids and the like. There are 8 cars entered. To my knowledge, 5 aussie racers and 3 future racers.

Good to see the little racers get their own event.
18 Historic Touring Cars entered, a few less than I was expecting or would have liked, but the serious championship contenders are there. 38 Improved Production Touring Cars entered. This should be absolultey huge, both QLD & NSW reigning champions are entered as well as a lot of other quicks and a heap of newbies. Should be great racing all through the field. Qualifying starts at 8:45 on Saturday. First race is at 12:40 on Saturday. Sunday racing all day from 8:30. |

I would love to be there but unfortunatly CAMS have thrown me another curved ball. I do hope the Aussie racers and Future cars have some great racing as this will really kick off the 2C Closed category which I have been after for soooooo long. Good luck to all competing - please keep us informed as to how it all goes. |

I saw the Sports Sedan race on Saturday, that was very good, congrats to FalconEL.
I didn't see the Legends and Future Racers. I hear the Historic Touring Cars were good. The Formula Vees were 3 races in one. 1600s, Shane Hart, the other 1200s. All the Improved Production races were terrific, highlight of the meeting. |

Forgot to mention, it was sunny, very dry, bloody cold and blowing a gale.

The guy who runs the site has been too busy to keep it up to date, I offered to help, but I'm technologically challenged so the offer was mute.
