The cars are getting shorter, not longer! The rear wing is pulled-in towards the back wheels.

I haven't seen a single photo where this is evident...

I know its supposed to be in place for the 2005 rules, but I haven't seen any cars running with the rear wing moved forward yet.

Take a profile pic from 1991, and a pic from 2004, the 2004 cars are about a foot and a half longer.

The 2004 Renault was one of the most graceful looking F1 cars I have ever seen.
