losing count
I've been without internet for a few weeks now, so i'm not sure if this has been covered elsewhere (sorry if it has) but i'm convinced that my post counts has dropped by about 1500 or so posts, is there a reason for this, or am i just imagining things?

I don't see the fascination with post counts. Why do we have them at all? Just curious.

Because some people see it as a competition / want to get thread counts higher etc to be a veteran or whatever? Hence sometimes the high number of pointless posts, imo.
