Jim Clark Rally
Okie Dokie, time to put some necks on the line here, it's the halfway point in both the Irish and British championships and all the main contenders are entered although Andrew Nesbitt will not be starting due to injuries sustained in Donegal and i'm not convinced young Wilson is ready to rock and roll yet. IMO, it's going to be a fight between Donnelly and Higgins and it will be a real bench marker for Eugene. If he, in his older spec Corolla can match Higgins, who in all aspects is really a WRC level driver, it will really show his true class.
1. Eugene Donnelly 2. Mark Higgins 3. Derek McGairity 4. Austin McHale 5. Eamon Boland 6. Rory Galligan |

Having thrown my stones I can see (I've broken a window) it being a win for Mr McGairity, or Mr. McHale or Mr Higgins.
Actually the stones said "hedge your bets, son" (the boss said youre paying for that B***dy window) |

Excellent vantage point for stage two - I met Tony Mason who called the watersplash "the best viewing place on any rally in the world".
