New Wheel Nuts for this weekend
Lola are supplying new wheel nuts this weekend designed to prevent a repeat of the pitstop problems we saw in Germany
And the teams are being given specific advice about batteries to prevent grid stalls. Good to see both Lola and A1GP reacting to problems as they arise. |

Not before time, though, because the wheel nut problem has apparently been around since F3000 days. I imagine it was accentuated by the bigger rear tyres that the Sheikh wanted.

Big problem apparently was the mechanics not lining the nuts up properly with the hubs before airgunning them - understandable as they attempt to do quick pitstops.
Apparently the redesign means that won't be a problem |
