Joe T should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi all

I'm new to this forum, but I thought I would contribute to this thread as I was actually there too.

Im not very good with flash (lack of experience), and I managed to take flat batteries with my sb600! The onboard flash wasnt producing good results, so I tried without falsh at all. I used the corner at druids, and allowed the car to be lit by the headlights of the car behind.

Here is one of my results:

Settings: D70, 50mm 1.8, 1/160th f1.8 iso 400

There are more in my gallery here . None of these were taken using flash.

I look forward to joining in the discussions on this board. Looks like a great place.

You did very well for those shots without a flash and a low ISO. Congratulations.

the sunset one is really nice, ditto what forza said as well,

was quite a different day from the usual, icy track at the start of the day then night racing at the finish

Thanks guys. I really appreciate your comments.

I took delivery today of a Sigma 120-300 2.8, so Im really looking forward to trying that out. It should be better than my Sigam 70-300 APO! Its VERY heavy though!

Thanks agian.
