A New Member - Hello from me

Hello to all users of this forum.

My name is Tim and I am 31 years old. I have been into motorsport since a very young age, but only got interested in photography about 18 months ago.

The main areas of motorsport I follow are GT racing (FIA GT and British GT), Saloon Car Racing (BTCC and WTCC) and Endurance Racing (LMES etc).

In the last year or so I have attended the following: -

BTCC - Donington Park
British GT - Donington Park
FIA GT - Silverstone
LMES - Silverstone
See Red Festival - Donington
Supercar Sunday - Gaydon
plus a few other events.

I also have a good collection of non motorsport pictures. These are usually pictures of Supercars such as the Ferrari Enzo, Lamborghini Murcielago etc.

I am currently using a film camera and not digital for most of my pictures. I use a Canon EOS300V Camera with a selection of lenses upto 300mm and occasionally a 2x adapter. I really enjoy taking pictures and will probably switch to a digital SLR within a year.

Please have a look at the attached photo which will enlarge when you click on the thumbnail. It is of the race winning Aston Martin DBR9 from the Silverstone Tourist Trophy in 2005.

I hope to have my own website in the next few months where I will be able to exhibit all my work so far.

Any criticism would be more than welcome.
