Website in need of photos
I run a motorsport website (general circuit racing) and I've started to get enough decent pictures to open up a small photo gallery for a couple of different racing categories. The problem is that my site is a non profit one and I therefor have to rely on getting the odd PR photos sent to me from different racing managers and a couple of photos taken at the tracks by my visitors.
I was just wondering if there are any hobby (pros are of course welcome as well) photographers who wish to show off some of their racing photos on my site. I can't offer you any money, only credits and a link back to your homepage. My site covers pretty much any circuit racing classes from single seaters through karting, touring cars and sport cars. Since promoting your websites isn't welcomed on this forum PM me for the URL. |

why cant you promote your website on here? if its a non profit site then i think you should be able to give out the URL
PM or post the URL, and i might be happy to donate a few photos. otherwise check out my friends website at www.motorshots.com they have some very cheap photos and also some free ones. |

Hi folks,
Just to correct a few incorrect statements in this thread. It is not precisely true that we don't allow people to promote their websites - it's just that since just about everyone these days has their own website, we found the forums were getting filled up with posts saying "hey everyone, visit my website". Since our mods don't have time to go to every single link and then make a judgement on whether a site is non-profit or not or whether the link is spam or not, the decision was made to open the "Cool Sites" forum for people to post their links to. We do allow exceptions for threads like this one - all we ask is that people have the good manners to contact the moderator of the forum and ask first before posting. This information is freely available in our FAQ. Just do a search for "website". Alternatively, if you don't wish to waste the 5 seconds searching, you can follow this link. I hope this clarifies. |

very nice site.. a lot of work must have been put into that!
if you want some pic from my site (unfortunately i dont have many helmet shots) go to http://www.xynamic.com, PM me with the names of the ones you want and i'll resize them to the size you require and send them to you. (so long as you dont mind a watermark, or giving some credit next to the photo) |
