Minicross424 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
SEMSEC last weekend

Well done all at semsec last weekend.
Another well run meeting and some exciting races.
Bad luck to Stu Bayliss and the beetle (it caught fire!) and i hope hes back soon.
Anyone know what happened to Mr Rooney in the second race?

Upside Down Bug should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hi guys

I thought it was a classic semsec meeting. Great variety of cars with some very competitive racing. I have to say I think 424 was cruel to set fire to the Beetle!!!!

There were also several freinds and family there as the meeting was held in Nikki's memory. One group came from a car club in Norfolk, and they described it as one of the best days motorsport they had been to recently.

So, who's coming to the SEMSEC event at Brands on 9th September? Even if you aren't racing I know they would really appreciate the help with marshalling.

Keep it in a straight line, (he doesnt know how), the classic overtake down the inside at Paddock frightens even the 4 wheel drive racer. New boots, no contest..

Plus; It isnt the engine that matters; its the Nob Boxes and bigguns that count.

Oh please gentleman, play nicely.

It will be great to see you Pete, and as for Mr DJ skiving in France!!!!

Mr Knox is getting very quick round Lydden and paddock bend doesn't seem to scare him at all, spining twice during the day!

Col you mentioned BARC don't allow rear engined cars, does that include mid engined cars aswell ? In the meantime, I'll stick with SEMSEC and I hope to be racing at Lydden on 30 Sep in my MR2.

Blimey did someone say 42 secs !! That's quick.

Andy I'm glad to hear everything run well last weekend, apologises I couldn't make it. Unfortunitely I'm racing at Blyton on 9/10th September so I can't make Brands either.

Thought I'd let you know, I've now started work on my new Mini, building this one for tarmac only (no Rallycross), I'll leave that to the MR2.

No such regs in the LMA Euro Saloons, so long as its not a full spaceframe its probably OK. Why not come out at Brands on 2 September?

If its a proper Mini and not some spaceframe, bike engine look-a-like then there will be a class in there somewhere in which you fit

Check out the regs at http://www.lmaeurosaloons.co.uk/e_re...gulations.html

Bike engined cars are allowed, but only if they are steel shelled Mini, Fiat 500s, etc and not Caterham type vehicles. Pretty well any saloon/sports car is allowed if there was ever a road going one registered in the UK

The Brands race currently has entries ranging from a couple of Super Tourers, a Noble M12GTR down to Integras, down to a Nova and a production Golf. So most people find somewhere to fit in

Race entry fee for the 15 minute qually and 20 minute race is £210 + £5 one off championship registration

driftwood has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Single seaters are getting 2 races 1x 15 lapper then later 10 lapper is planned 2 races for £235 or something like that rather pay double for BH than Lydden the same day
closing date is tomorrow contact details
