Very good news.
Presumably smaller sponsors go for smaller teams because it costs less to get more exposure. One has to think that with the state of the series a company could get more exposure by sponsoring a near best team. Unless PCM is basically giving away the sides of the car I cannot see the benefit in sponsoring them over any other team. If Mr. Figge came into your office and convinced you of the benefits of CC racing, wouldn't you look into the series a bit and realize that you could sponsor someone else? Come to think of it, if a company wanted a "cheap" way to be a car sponsor, DCR seems like the ideal choice. If they have Junquiera they'll get exposure due to all of the passes and good performance out of a small team. If they sponsored Legge they'd get exposure due to her gender and her propensity to get involved in incidents. |
