2007 Circuit City 250 @ Richmond Busch Series Event Thread *SPOILERS*

Can you tell this has been a hectic week? I just now - roughly 2½ hours before the race gets underway - remembered that I hadn't gotten a Busch Series thread up and running yet.

Anyhow, yep, the thread is now up

Denny Hamlin starts from the pole, with Matt Kenseth beside him on the front row. Juan Pablo Montoya starts 11th while Marcos Ambrose had a terrible qualifying and starts way down from 40th position.

Sam Hornish Jr. will make his fifth Busch Series start of the year, starting from the 28th position.

NASCAR.com has the full lineup.

My pick for the win: Kevin Harvick

It seemed Jeff Burton dominated that race, but not when it really mattered in the closing 50 laps or so!

Clint smoked 'em!

Nice run for JPM as well, ran a long time with a brake issue and still got 11th. Not bad. Ambrose also climbed up a bit (dissapointed with his in race reporting though!).

Drive of the race was Kyle Busch though, who was nowhere to begin with but he salvaged a top five finish in the end.

JPM had a good race there. Hopefully he can do a bit better (and win) the Nextel cup race.
