im not sure how long its been up on planetlemans but lowe's fernandez are heading to lemans with a zytek 07S in LMP2, looks like they may be dropping their lola B07/40 acura in favour of the zytek.

It has been covered on the Le Mans Entry List thread, but I agree that it perhaps deserves it's own thread.

Nope, this is with the Barazi team for Le Mans only, not Lowes Fernandez. They will keep the Lola B06/43 in the ALMS.

Yeah he did say in the article that he wants to return next year with his own team. This looks like a "testing the water" trip. A good idea and they have a good car for it also.

honda/acura will have information all of the privateer chassis now with the zytek, they will now have info for the zytek 07S which has so far been the fastest privateer P2 car by far.
they have loads of info and data gathered from the lola B07/40 and also the courage LC75, only car they dont have data and info on now is the porsche RS spyder and luchinni. |

Adrián wanted the LM experience, that's all. Many of his key people will be part of the works Zytek (not Barazi though they will use one of their entries) effort and the intention is to come 100% prepared for 2008. Fernández racing is 100% committed to Acura, if you read the interview he had with Planetlemans earlier this year this will be crystal clear to you.
