norman-normal should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Turbo, push to pass, CC? NO! F1.

Max Mosley is proposing this and bio fuel as well as a spec body (to prevent danger from turbulence to a car trying to pass).

Almost sounds like Kevin Kalkoven is has some influence here; Burnie's not going to like this, you know how he was about the red Bridgestones

it's a bit embarrassing isn't it? i'm ashamed to say this as an F1 fan but the technological forefront of motor racing and all F1 can do is nick stuff from other series...

I can understand your embarrassment, at the same time, I applaud it as one of his more cerebral proclamations.

One thing I have always admired about the Japanese: They don't seem to care who comes up with an idea first, as long as it is a good idea, they will run with it.

It seems nearly every year, Max comes up with some wild ideas, that get people talking... and most never come to fruition.

Spec chassis/bodies in F1? That would truly suck.

Sev has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

Where on earth do the Japanese come into this?

They don't, for the benefit of those of you who were born recently, the Japanese have a long standing reputation of copying things, ideas, from other countrys.

This thought is classified as "cerebral?"

Oh, please! F1 is at the pinnacle of technological achievement. Coming up with some sort of "spec body" is just Max talking in order to fill the air with the sound of his own voice. He spins ideas constantly, some good, some bad. some, like this one, is just silly.

KK has absolutely Zero influence in F1. Further, F1 has absolutely no need to go with a spec racing series. We already have GP2, A1GP, CC, IRL and to a large extent, NASCAR if it is spec racing you want to see.
