Daytona 24 Predictions
Any idea's who will scoop the win ???
It does actually look quite an exciting race, at least on form, Several previous front runners, some young pretenters, what will happen??? Will it be a sprint, well probably not. Will an unknown privateer win, do they do have a good chance This oval stock guy, can he turn right ??? SL |

Re: Daytona 24 Predictions
I think a prototype will win this year.
I still don't see a Judd engine lasting to the finish. My money is on the Champion Lola. |

the ascari judd has proven to be quick in the fia series, i just dont know if it will last for 24.
the b2k/10 is a quick car, i hope the judd holds. doran is quick, judd aswell. obviously, i dont have high expectation for anything with a judd. so basically for a prototype, id like to see champion win, quick car and proven motor. next up is dyson, he knows what hes doing, let see if hes got the mk3c right this time a round. as much as i love ultimas, i dont see them being that competitive against saleens and vipers, sorry i dont think its had that much development from other teams around the globe. GT win=porsche gt3 rs.. enough said. anything can happen but that the way i see things unfolding. |

I don't think a NASCAR driver will win, and I don't think a Corvette will win.
I do think the R&S will lead most of the race and blow up an hour before the end. [This is a little like predicting that it will rain on Victoria Day.] As for who will win, probably Harry Bytzek. Hey, he came in 6th last year! |

I don't expect very many Judd powered cars to finish the race. Expect to see Dyson's car in the running and then let go once more. The 'Vette team has proven it can run the distance, but will struggle to catch just one reliable prototype.

Vete team???
To which team do we refer? Certainly not "THE" Vette team (winner Of Rolex outright and leMans class last year). They're staying home.
