Hugewally should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I think modified to be an open top and accept a Porsche engine & drive train sounds better than chopped up.

Remember Nissan commisioned Lola to build their late 80's Group C car, plenty IMSA GTP cars were based on the older Lola chassis, while Mazda purchased the chassis/rights to the TWR XJR-14 in '92, which incidently then went on to be a factory Porsche!
And Audi commisioned Dallara to build the R8 - most manufacturers use racing car specialists to help with their cars so AM using Lola would be no surprise to me.

Commisioned, or told Dallara this is what we want go build it? Big difference.

Indeed big difference. From what I understand, Dallara took the role of being a parts supplier for Audi. They received an order, with exact specifications as to what to build, the tolerances, everything. A made to order part.

Or worked together, both with great knowledge in different areas of the car.

Is there a particular reason why the P2 Lola is on the Autosport stand, but Lola themselves will be announcing the first P1 customer?

Is the P1 car under wraps because of the rumours of a manufactuer link-up?

...and do Lola have their own stand? If not, we can cross reference against organisations that do have a stand...

The other phrase that may be of note in the DSC report is that this year's Autsprout Show will be the "best ever" for Sportscar/GT fans.

I hope so, as I'm going Friday and didn't spot the twofer discounts until after tickets had been purchased.

The LMP2 Coupe model is on the Lemo Stand ( Stand no: E512 in Hall 19, Autosport Engineering)

The Charouz Lola LMP1 (2007) is on the Staubli stand (Stand no E208 in Hall 19 in Autosport Engineering)

Could it be that Lola announce the Lola-Aston, because it is not factory enough for a genuine Aston Martin/Prodrive announcement?

Prodrive run the DBR9's as a customer business first, factory team second.

I wonder if they are looking to expand their business with an engine program exclusively with Lola?

We'll soon find out!
